Notes:There are two different editions of this non-anamorphic edition from EC Entertainment:
- The first has an English back cover and states that it is '125 min with extras' which is incorrect. This version has both English and German soundtracks. The catalogue number is EC 1006-DVD on the spine and EC 1006 DVD (C) 1998 on the disc.
- The second (the edition detailed here) has a German backcover which doesn’t mention that it actually contains a theatrical trailer. The cover wrongly states that there is a German soundtrack. The catalogue number is EC 1004 DVD on the spine and EC 1004B-DVD on the disc -

Notes:If you have a problem with English subtitles on Ruggero Deodato´s interview, try this: Go to the David Hess interview. During that interview, the disc allows you to turn on the subtitles (even though there aren't any subtitles for that interview). Then switch back to the Deodato interview, which will now play with subtitles.

Easter eggs:From the disc's Main Menu go to the "Extras" section. Once you get there, select the "Interviews" menu entry and on the following screen highlight the menu entry that reads "David Hess And Family". Now press the "right" arrow key on your remote control and you will highlight a blood-splattered stain on the screen. Press "enter" and you will get to a trivia game consisting of 10 questions about the history of the film. If you answer all these questions correctly you will be treated to a music video by David's son, Jessie Hess. The video is then followed by a slide show consisting of the movie's foreign lobby cards
