CUTS:
- R0 United Kingdom- Jezebel/Salvation Films - UK cinema version as cut (85:02 PAL).
-
R1 America- Jezebel/Salvation Films - UK cinema version as cut (84:57 PAL to NTSC).
The original submission to the BBFC had a runtime of 89:25 24fps / 85:50 PAL equivalent. The cuts, as detailed by the BBFC:
Double Reel 1(a) - The rhyme recited by Kinky must be either removed or replaced by something less censorable.
(Rewind note: It was replaced.)
Double Reel 2(a) - Remove all shots where girls' bare bodies are practically seen through the window of the swimming pool.
Double Reels 2(b) and 3(c) - Very considerably reduce the party scenes. The effect given should be no more than that there is some drinking and leching.
Double Reel 4(a) - Reduce to a minimum the episode in which Liz's father finds her at a brothel.
Remove "He's a jockey - a ride for a ride" and "Get stuffed".
(Rewind note: "He's a jockey" remains, the second part was deleted. "Get stuffed" was spoken over by "Get lost", although the original is still just audible. Although mild, it was spoken by a woman. Stronger language was allowed from men only.)
Both DVD runtimes include about a 0:12 display of the contemporary BBFC X-certificate.
