    OVERALL: R2

The Italian release has the longest cut (by ~15 mins), but do note that it is not English friendly. If you need English then the US release is the only way to go.

  •

    CUTS:

    • R1 America- Warner Home Video - Shorter version (128:21 NSTC).
The differences between the US release and the much longer Italian release (136:50 PAL / 142:32 NTSC) are numerous and include both exposition scenes and scenes of violence censored from the US print. It is likley that the extra Italian dialogue scenes were never recorded in English and, in addiiton, the opening credits have all been redone and run shorter (with shorter accompanying music) in the English version. Thanks to Rewind member Tim Rogerson for providing these details.
    • R2 France- StudioCanal/Universal StudioCanal Video - Shorter version - see US notes (123:14 PAL).
    • R2 Italy- CVC Video - No cuts (136:50 PAL).
