OVERALL: Draw

- R1 DC offers three versions of the film, including the Director's Cut, and some extras.
- R3 DC HK includes only the Director's Cut, but with a DTS-ES soundtrack and some extras, which are slightly different from those found on the R1 (filmographies and photo gallery instead of deleted scene). This release is also completely English friendly.
- R3 HK is the only confirmed release to offer the original HK theatrical cut of the film, with a full bitrate DTS-ES soundtrack ans extras, but it is not English friendly.

Also note that R3 Thailand is the only known release to offer the Thai theatrical cut, but it has only Thai soundtracks and is not English friendly.

GENERAL NOTES:
The following versions of the film are known to exist:
- The "Hong-Kong Theatrical Cut", shown in theatres in Hong-Kong (~105min NTSC).
- The "Thai Theatrical Cut", shown in theatres in Thailand (~111min NTSC).
- The "US Theatrical Cut", shown in theatres in the US only (~103min NTSC).
- The "Western Cut", shown in theatres in UK/Australia (~104min NTSC). This version is labeled as "Unrated" in the USA.
- The "Hong-Kong Director's Cut" (~140min NTSC).

INFORMATION ON THE DIFFERENT VERSIONS:
*"Thai Theatrical Cut" adds a Thai fighter scene between Huo Yuanjia and a Thai boxer called Bei Cha.
*"Hong-Kong Director's Cut" vs. "Western Cut":
Director Ronny Yu reduced the length of 'Fearless' from 143 minutes to 103 minutes to speed up the pacing of the movie.
The subplot with Michelle Yeoh has been cut. In the original cut the story of Huo Yuanjia is told by Miss Yang an Olympic official. In the early part of the movie Huo Yuanjia is in exile in a Thai village and to save a boy from being punished for stealing an ox, he is forced into a match with a local boxer, played by Somluck Kamsing. Ronny Yu made the cut after audiences from an internal screening criticized the film for being too slow and the Olympic sub-story being too irrelevant to the main plot.
