What region is Hong Kong? (UK cut version requires Region B AND English language player-menu set.)

Can you tell if the audio problem is the same as on the existing entries?

Thanks

Hong Kong is region A. On my region A player, it defaults to the uncut version.

As for the sound issue, I cant say becuz Im not sure exactly what to look for. All I know is the cover art and disc specs (Audio/Subs) are identical to the UK/Holland versions so I assume its the same disc with the same flub.

I'm listening to the beginning attack and it seems the choral is intact.

Yes, a Region A player only gives the uncut version. From your specs, In all respects it is the same as the UK/Dutch releases so
I don't see why the audio should be different... :-?

From the DigitalBits:

http://www.digitalbits.com/#mytwocents

"By the way, just a quick Universal/Conan BD update. The studio is currently investigating the reported audio errors on the new Blu-ray and will offer additional information as they have it. In the meantime, you can e-mail them at USHE.ConsumerRelations@bydeluxe.com if you have any specific concerns. And of course, we'll post a full update as soon as the studio determines the nature of the issue and what their corrective steps will be."

I'm puzzled why the HK release should have intact audio when in all other respects it is
identical to the UK/Dutch release... :-?

It is a real mind bender. But I think it's because of different companies, meaning, they'll work with whatever materials they have. Perfect Examples are City Of The Living Dead Blu-Rays (US and UK), and various Dimension releases in the US and Canada (Examples: Halloween H20: 20 Years Later and From Dusk 'Til Dawn). Different countries, different product.

I can confirm that the Fox HK release is practically identical to the Dutch/UK releases.

source* I borrowed the UK disc from a friend.

I don't think that there is anything more to be added to the entry at the moment?
