Scanners - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, it's been many years since I've seen this, still awesome, one of Cronenberg's best. 9/10.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Sisters - The Criterion Collection, an early De Palma film, marketed as horror but more of a thriller in the Hitchcock sense complete with Bernard Herrmann score, it's a classic but still can never get over Margot Kidder's Quebec accent even though she's Canadian, 7/10.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Dead Ringers - The Criterion Collection DVD, dusted off this old DVD, hadn't seen this film since this edition was released back in 1998. The film still holds up, it's moody, brilliantly designed, and features an amazing performance from Jeremy Irons playing twin brothers. 8/10.

Seconds - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, a terrific John Frankenheimer classic sci-fi thriller about a bored banker dissatisfied with his life, decides to employ the services of a company to fake his death, change his appearance and start a new life in California. Incredible tension, incredible camerawork, incredible performance from Rock Hudson, and a film you wouldn't have expected from a Hollywood studio in the mid 60's. 9/10.

Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Forty Guns - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, a Samuel Fuller classic western that breaks a lot of conventions and features some incredible camerawork considering the era it was made in. 8/10.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Grey Gardens - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, wow... talk about eccentric cat ladies, these two are quite something. 7/10.

Detour - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, an Edward G. Ulmer noir classic about an unlucky nightclub pianist caught in a bad situation, terrific whip cracking dialogue and a conniving drifter make it a memorable film, 8/10.

General Idi Amin Dada: A Self-Portrait - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, incredible how someone with a history of sinister brutality could appear so warm and welcoming, his controversial views come out with a cheeky smile and laugh, his ego unmatched, it's frightening at times knowing what his regime had done to the people of Uganda over the years of his reign. 8/10.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Space Force: Season 1 (Netflix) - Many critics didn't like it and thought it wasn't funny. The problem is how do you mock and make fun of something that in reality is already ludicrous? Overall I wasn't disappointed, it was ok and I would watch a second season. 6/10.
