Fist of Fury - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, the second disc in the Bruce Lee collection, great action, some cringe worthy moments but mostly due to being a product of its time. 7/10.

Diamonds of the Night - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, a stark and stunning Czech film about two jewish boys who escape a concentration camp transport and are on the run through rough terrain. 8/10.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Way of the Dragon - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, disc three from the Bruce Lee collection, while I enjoyed Fist of Fury more, this film is still entertaining if only for the final battle with Chuck Norris. Bruce Lee directs for the first time and while he's great at action choreography directing actors to act is not his strong suit, 6.5/10.

Enter the Dragon - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, the crown jewel of the Bruce Lee collection, I've seen this film countless times and you add one more time to the list! It's about as perfect a movie as you're going to get, 10/10.

True Stories - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, David Byrne's quirky tale of the citizens of Virgil, Texas as they celebrate their "specialness", it's weird, whimsical, and wonderfully delightful, 8/10.

The Daytrippers - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, a quirky indy film from the mid 90's that includes a fine cast led by Hope Davis and features Stanley Tucci, Parker Posey, and Liev Schreiber. 7/10.

I'll Be Gone in the Dark - HBO documentary series about Michelle McNamara's obsessive investigation into the East Area Rapist cold case. Incredible series, highly recommend 10/10.

Watchmen - The HBO series, I had my reservations as I hold the comic series quite high on a pedestal that includes a short list of the greatest comics ever written, but this series hits all the right notes without being disrespectful to the original comic series, 8/10.

Game of Death - The Criterion Collection blu-ray, the last film in the Bruce Lee collection. I remember watching this years ago, I know I've seen the 1978 version and then the later version released in the early 90's when more Bruce Lee footage was unearth. Rewatching this again it only strengthens my opinion that this film should have been left incomplete, it's just such a money grab while exploiting his death, there's even real footage from his actual funeral in the film! It's a shoddy attempt and they should have just used the footage to create a documentary about the film and it never being properly completed by Lee instead. 5/10.

The Old Guard - Netflix, based on the Image Comics series, starring Charlize Theron. Awesome action film, well adapted from the source material, I definitely want a sequel! 8/10.
