Rome, 2072 A.D.: The New Gladiators (First viewing, YouTube) – 5.5/10
In the dystopian future, global TV networks are king. The most popular reality TV show is a savage gladiatorial contest called Battle of the Damned where death row prisoners from all over the world battle one another on tricked-out motorcycles with all sorts of weapons until the last man standing is declared the winner. When Drake - one of the champions - uncovers a conspiracy behind the show in its final round, all hell breaks loose.

Jared Martin, Fred Williamson and Al Cliver star. Lucio Fulci directs.

Interesting ideas but too much talking and not much action.

Just mesmerizing - 8/10.

Del Toro at his very best - 9/10.

207 - The Visit (UK Blu)
Plain terrible, Shyamalan keeps goind all the way down - 3/10.

208 - Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (Broadcast)
A rather funny horrific comedy - 6/10.

209 - True Blood #3 (French Blu)
Pleasant, but not extraordinary… 6/10.

210 - Jour Polaire (Midnight Sun) #1 (Broadcast)
Rather good French thriller set in Sweden with a strong acting by Leila Bekhti - 7/10.

One of the best seasons of the show, with some incredibly tense situations - 9/10.
