Popped into town and decided to look in two charity shops, both of which do buy one get one free on DVDs:

Two macaroni combat movies of the late 60's that are really hard to get in their best video quality!

France:
Commandos (DVD) [N] ---> The only anamorphic widescreen video in its OAR available on DVD so far, but it comes with the French audio only.

Italy:
War Devils (DVD) [N] ---> The only anamorphic widescreen video available on DVD so far, but it comes with the original Italian audio only.

Right now I have to be satisfied with these versions despite the non-English audio as I doubt there'd be any better versions coming sooner or later
