2.0 mono, stereo, or surround?

Do you know the legitimacy of this release? Spain is a hive of professionally produced bootlegs and I can't find any info on this studio?
I work away a lot but I will reply to all PM's within a few days so please have patience!

I bought this one off Amazon.es.
As far as bootlegs in Spain go: I lived there for a while and i never ever saw one there.
The barcode checks out, too.
I can't find info on that label though since "Cult movies" does not exactly help finding things in spain.
If this is a bootleg, they sure fooled me because it certainly looks like an original as does everything else i ever got from/in Spain.
This is also available in pretty much every movie store in Spain.
Fun fact: Even though it is the unrated us-release version (Peter Jackson's preferred cut) This one starts with the title "Braindead" while "Dead alive" seems superimposed below that title.
I bought this because i hoped for the longer theatrical version since i already have the us-bd and i had the spanish dvd of Braindead back in the day, which did have that version.
I can't be sure about the title, but i think the beginning showed the spanish title which is "Tu madre se ha comida a mi perro" Translation: "Your mother ate my dog"
I'm going with the opinion that this one is genuine, unlike the german/austrian release which was also en amazon shortly (It's still banned in Germany). That one DOES feature the longer version, but the quality looks like an upscaled dvd which it is because it is a bootleg.
The spanish one looks pretty much like the us one despite being 1080i for some reason.

Sound is Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround for both spanish & english.

The laws seem quite bad in Spain and Amazon.es has been selling boots for years from Spanish companies like Resen who are the most notorious, using direct rips of discs from the likes of Twilight Time. I had a great discussion with Twilight Time and Sony (the rights holders of the titles we were investigating for Spain) and they were unfortunately well produced boots that have fooled many people (the Spanish forum mundo-dvd have a huge thread about them). I ended up deleting all Resen releases from the database here.

I'll add this one later!

Thanks as always Oliver.

I've delved deeper with this one and Cult Movies is a sub-label of Resen / Research Films / Feel Films / Llamentol and is unfortunately an unauthorised and unlicensed release. Sorry, but we are unable to add it.

Interesting thread on main Spanish forum that calls it one of the pressed disc bootlegs (which seems to happen for the more cult titles):
