St. Trinian's (2007) - Sony & Alliance DVDs ADDED

Postby Paul_Rudoff » 07 Aug 2018 02:42

St. Trinian's (2007)
(aka St. Trinian's School For Bad Girls)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0964587/reference

Two separate DVD releases. Sony has an exclusive making of featurette (called "School Diary"), but loses the theatrical trailer, letterboxes the music video, and adds a bunch of annoying legal text screens. Alliance is better all around - widescreen music video, trailer, no extra legal text screens - but doesn't have the Making of featurette.

Since it only cost me $1.00 for the Sony DVD (found at Dollar Tree stores here in New York), I have no problem owning two different copies of the movie :-)

SONY DVD (AMERICA):
* Title: St. Trinian's ("St. Trinian's School For [Bad] Girls" on front cover only)
* Country: America
* Region: 1
* Releasing Studio: Sony
* Case Type: Keep Case
* Aspect Ratio: 1.85:1
* Anamorphic?: Yes
* PAL or NTSC?: NTSC
* Soundtracks: English 5.1 Dolby Digital.
* Subtitles: English, English SDH. (optional)
* Cuts/Runtime: 100:45 (uncut)
* Commentaries: None
* Extras:
- "The Official School Diary" Making Of Featurette (9:56)
- Bloopers (5:46)
- Girls Aloud "St. Trinian's Chant" Music Video (4:3 Letterbox) (4:35)
- Deleted Scenes (19 scenes) (18:03)
- Bonus Trailers (first 3 also on boot): Bright Star, Ice Castles, The Young Victoria, The Accidental Husband, The Maiden Heist, By The People: The Election of Barack Obama, Michael Jackson's This Is It, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Coco Before Chanel, An Education, It Might Get Loud, and Soul Power.
* Notes: Music Video is 4:3 Letterbox. Difference in runtime for deleted scenes is due to a 5-second legal text screen added to the end of every scene. With 19 scenes, it adds up. Same screen is added to the end of the music video and Bloopers too, but runtime difference isn't so significant.
* Easter Eggs: None
* Amazon ASIN: B002WY65UQ
* Source: Disc I own.

Could you list the bonus trailer runtimes please?

Also for the delet d scenes, are they only on a “play all” function and cannot be played individually?

Could you also list the titles of the deleted scenes and their runtimes for the Sony DVD as well as the times for the trailers?

Geez, you're asking an awful lot considering I gave a complete list of the important details to begin with.

As a courtesy, I dug out the DVDs and will give additional information, but please don't ask again. For what it's worth, no one cares about bonus trailers. They either skip past them on boot, ignore them, or wish they weren't hogging up disc space that could be used for better things.

SONY
- Individual Deleted Scenes:
(includes 5 second legal text screen at the end of each)
01. "This Is Creepy!" (1:56)
02. "Weird Science" (0:33)
03. "A Foreign Tongue" (0:32)
04. "Fight Club" (1:04)
05. "Beer Run" (0:29)
06. "Admiring The View" (0:39)
07. "Whatever" (0:46)
08. "I Don't Do Team Sports" (0:24)
09. "Placing Bets" (0:31)
10. "Don't Mess With St. Trinian's" (1:48)
11. "Getting Drunk" (0:36)
12. "Bullying" (0:23)
13. "Field Trip" (1:20)
14. "The Mona Lisa Scam" (1:38)
15. "Fixing St. Trinian's" (1:05)
16. "A Rather Delicate Experiment" (0:37)
17. "Intense Preparations" (1:41)
18. "The Smell of Fear" (1:04)
19. "Model Citizen's" (1:06)
(yes, #19 includes that grammar error)

- Bonus Trailers (first 3 also on boot): Bright Star (2:28), Ice Castles (2:18), The Young Victoria (2:34), The Accidental Husband (1:42), The Maiden Heist (2:08), By The People: The Election of Barack Obama (2:29), Michael Jackson's This Is It (2:33), The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (1:46), Coco Before Chanel (2:04), An Education (2:26), It Might Get Loud (2:28), and Soul Power (2:00).

ALLIANCE
- Boot Trailers for Planet 51 (1:48), 17 Again (2:20), Bring It On: Fight To The Finish (1:49), and Degrassi On The Set: Horray For Hollywood (2:44).

People may not care about bonus trailers in general, but we would like to be thorough if possible. Thank you for checking and will get to updating later today

EDIT: And added, thank you!
