Only restored version available, though various other "public domain" DVDs have been issued.

I realise the desription for the "Film Noir TV Episode" is longer than is usual here, but it's been mislabelled everywhere, including on the disc itself, and that info doesn't exist anywhere else, either online or in any standard film noir texts or Wallace Ford biographies. I've kept it as short as possible and believe it important to keep it as is. Likewise with the soundie, which is usually mistitled and undated.

Lastly, while I'm here, I notice Slightly Scarlet is listed as having "2.0 Surround" audio. I have the VCI DVD, though I can't for the life of me find it right now, and I'm certain it's 2.0 mono.

Thank you. I noticed for one of the films in the set, Naked Kiss, the footnotes say Criterion's the winner, "but it's presented in 1.78:1." That's a bit misleading: the OAR was 1.75:1, so the Criterion's transfer is the most accurate!
