Since the Hong Kong materials could not be located, the Japanese version was the basis for Mei Ah's HD restoration and features Japanese credits and text with Mandarin audio.
    The first two discs are housed in a case with the title "Deadly Masters" while the third and fourth are housed in a case with the title "Fearless Shaolin".
    The Hong Kong version is a reconstruction utilizing a variety of sources, including 4:3 SD video.
    Comes in a limited edition hardbound case featuring newly commissioned artwork by Darren Wheeling with a 60-page booklet featuring new writing on the films included in the set by James Oliver, illustrated with archival imagery and materials, as well as a set of 8 facsimile lobby cards.
