Postby Samuel_Scott » 09 Apr 2012 23:50

Been looking to buy a few posters recently and made my first couple of purchases today...

I put in a bid of £130 for this today and was quickly outdone  :

Ended up purchasing UK Quads of "Slavers" (1978) and "Heavy Metal" (1981) instead...

I've got some but not movie ones. Cars and naked women mostly.

I used to buy movie posters but ended up having to sell them off, just ended up with way too many and all rolled up in storage, no point keeping them if they aren't going to be framed and displayed, so they had to go... I still kept a few though mainly Star Wars, Robocop, and other sci-fi posters.

Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Cool. There are a few I really want, but they seem to sell at the £200 mark and not sure I want to spend that on a poster.

Another couple of recent purchases:
- Thai poster for The Headless Horseman
- Spanish poster for Tiger Joe

I've some local vintage posters. Some of them are quite... something.

(The Finnish title is misspelled here.)

Some items in living room. They are partly behind new Ikea shelves because I thought I'd be moving soon:
