Entertainment One buys Alliance

Entertainment One have bought Alliance for $225m (Canadian).

I imagine there will be a lot of rebranding going on soon then. In the UK, Alliance owned at least Momentum Pictures and G2 Pictures so we'll see what happens, especially when Entertainment One have started to become a 'player' here the last couple of years.

Entertainment One have just signed a four-year deal to distribute DreamWorks titles in the UK and Holland from 2013, starting with Starbuck (2013).
