Not seen much yet for 2013 releases due to living too far away from a cinema (literally a plane ride away) and working away a lot, but so far...

The Last Stand - 8/10
Parker - 6/10
Welcome to the Punch - 6/10
Vehicle 19 - 5/10
Age of Dinosaurs - 4/10
Movie 43 - 3/10

I only found one scene in Movie 43 funny (Chloe Moretz scene directed by Elizabeth Banks). The Last Stand I'm probably being generous with, but I quite enjoyed it for the brainless popcorn flick it was.

Stupid, but so much fun. Looking forward to the inevitable sequel.

Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.

A Good Day to Die Hard - 5/10

At least it was better than thr fourth though that may have been due to my different levels of expectations.

The Last Stand - 8/10
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters - 7/10
Parker - 6/10
Welcome to the Punch - 6/10
And Now a Word from Our Sponsor - 5/10
Good Day to Die Hard (A) - 5/10
Vehicle 19 - 5/10
Age of Dinosaurs - 4/10
Movie 43 - 3/10

Bruce Greenwood and Parker Posey are very well cast, but the laughs didn't really amount to much and I found it a bit repetitive.

I know Jessica Chastain has been getting all the praise, but the two kids really added to the tense and atmospheric situations here. Really enjoyed this one.

The Last Stand was a nice surprise. After seeing the trailer I had expected Johnny Knoxville to ruin it but he isn't in it anywhere near as much as you would think.

A Good Day to Die Hard suffers similar problems as the 4th. For me, Die Hard movies are about an average cop, stuck in sticky situations who can actually get hurt. In the 4th and 5th, McClane just becomes a wholly unbelievable character by doing insanely impossible things (driving a Merc over traffic, throwing a motorbike up at a chopper, etc etc).

Agreed, I don't buy it either. Though I love the 4th part anyway. :-D

Went to see Fast & Furious 6 the other night, I'd give it a solid 7/10 - I hated the first three installments in this series, but the last three were excellent. Totally BS over the top movie but incredibly enjoyable and the cast had fun chemistry.

I'm really looking forward to seeing:

Man of Steel
This is the End
Kon Tiki
The Lone Ranger
Monsters University
The World's End
The Wolverine
Red 2
Pain & Gain
Elysium
Kick Ass 2
Stoker
Riddick
Gravity
Thor: The Dark World
Ender's Game (my favorite book of all time, can't wait for this!)
Only God Forgives (despite the boos at Cannes, I love Nicolas Winding Refn's films, besides... Taxi Driver was booed at Cannes so not really a decent yard stick for measurement)

Not yet sure about (I might see it theatrically or I might wait for home video):

Hangover Part III (heard terrible things about it)
The Internship (looks kind of lame)
World War Z (doesn't look that good)
Pacific Rim (I have doubts)
Machete Kills (wasn't 100% in love with the first one)
Old Boy (I love me some Spike Lee, but I'm not fully convinced the American remake will be worth watching, I'll reserve judgement when a trailer is released)
The Hunger Games Catching Fire (wasn't that bog a fan of the first, nor am I of the books)
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Standard rom-com but with a better than average cast. Stephen Merchant's opening scenes were brilliant.

Good to see that after the second movie they went a different route, but it still lacks far behind the first movie. With all the PR she has been doing, I thought Heather Graham would get more screen time, but that disappointment was made up for with the ever reliable John Goodman.

It seems the movies I wouldn't normally enjoy have been those I've enjoyed the most this year. I found this one to be consistently funny and think if you liked The Hangover or Project X then you'll like this.
