Help us raise money for MediCinema

Postby Samuel_Scott » 08 Apr 2014 23:37

We are going to try and help raise money for MediCinema this year with a target of £100. MediCinema are a charity that builds cinemas inside hospitals so people can see films when they are having a crappy time. You can read more about them at their page:
http://www.medicinema.org.uk/

So, to help us reach our goal we have set up a Just Giving page here:
http://www.justgiving.com/dvdcompare

Just Giving give the money directly to the charity, with no middle man, so you can be positive that all donations are safe.

What can you do?

Well, we know many people do not use UV codes, so I've decided to sell the ones I receive for the cause. I used to just give them away (I don't get many anyway), but sold my Hobbit one today in return for a donation (as you can see in the second link). If you have any UV codes you never intend to use, and want to help a good cause, then please, let me know via PM, and we will do what we can to make the most of it.

Alternatively, you can just donate because you want to.
I work away a lot but I will reply to all PM's within a few days so please have patience!

Now at over £70!

We are selling UV/digital codes people do not want for a charity called MediCinema who put cinemas in hospitals so people can get a couple of hours of enjoyable respite during not so good times. We don't ask for a particular value, just a donation for the ones you want (though please be as generous as you can with whatever you can afford!).

The donations are made directly to charity via this JustGiving page. Once I receive the receipt of donation, I'll send you the codes. PM me before donating though!

When you PM me, let me know the intended donation amount also please (some people have been offering as little as $0.25 a code, even though it's for charity).

Currently available (some are UV, some iTunes):

From USA Blu-rays:
Game of Thrones: Season 3
Breaking Bad: Season 5
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (x2)
Supernatural: Season 7
Anchorman 2 (iTunes HD)
