The Haunting (1963) UPDATED

Postby Brent_Reid » 19 Sep 2023 10:32

There's now a standard UK BD (ASIN B085KQ5KMR), which should replace the unavailable HMV BD in the listing and ad.

The same BD has also been released in Brazil (as Desafio do Além).

The US DVD and its extras are replicated on one side of the 2-flipper DVD set, TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection: Horror.

Correct Italian DVD ASIN: B0082RGTOE.

Caps BD and DVD.

I didn't mention mention the Silver Screen Icons: Horror set, which you've added, as it doesn't contain any extras, so should have a separate listing.

While I'm at it, please add amend the TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection: Horror set's note to the effect that it comes as two (single-layered) flipper discs or two (double-layered) single-sided discs. They both have the same ASIN.

Whoops, got that a bit muddled; I really should avoid late night and early morning posting! What I should have said was the four original single DVD masters were originally transferred verbatim to either side of two flippers in a swing tray case. But these were later abandoned and replaced with four stacked single discs instead.

I have these TCM sets in both flipper and four-disc versions, and there are loads of examples of both on eBay. All have the same packaging, ASIN and EAN, and the only way to tell them apart is by looking inside, although the flippers are much more plentiful.
