Viy (1967)
Severin Films - All the Haunts Be Ours box set release
2 of the Silent Film Excerpts are incorrectly named in the on-screen menu:
"The Portrait" (1915; 6:19) is incorrectly listed as "Satan Exultant"
"Satan Exultant" (1917; 15:36) is incorrectly listed as "The Portrait"
(Note: This also explains why they were previously listed with the wrong runtimes - the person who submitted the information (I believe Åsmund_Utvik) presumably followed what the menu said. However, the Severin single disc release has the correct names in the menu, and by viewing the contents of these excerpts, it is clear that the single disc release has the correct names.)
I can also confirm that the 3 Silent Film Excerpts on the box set have 30 frames per second (during freeze frame/ frame advance). This is different to the Severin Films single disc release, where these Excerpts only have 24 frames per second, but seem to be converted on-the-fly to 30fps using pulldown. Hence the box set versions run faster and have shorter runtimes, as they are effectively sped up from 24fps to 30fps.
Source: I own both the Severin single disc release and the Severin box set.
