The Italian BD picture format is not MPEG-2 but MPEG-4 AVC

Even if this is not Woo's best, hopefully a better special edition will come along some time.

The main weakness is the plot that focuses on Cage's character rather than the windtalkers' . Then there's John Woo's over the top shootout sequences that don't fit into a war movie inspired by true events. The director's cut doesn't make it a better film too.

Btw, you forgot to mention in the OVERALL: The Italian release for the AVC codec and extras
