IT - had some free time this afternoon and went to a matinee screening, not a bad horror, it wasn't entirely scary but if I was younger and a less jaded horror fan this would have terrified the s**t out of me. Decent performances from the kids, some nice humor here and there with their interactions. Bill Skarsgård nails it as Pennywise and delivers a chilling performance. It was entertaining but nothing mind-blowing here as the usual horror tropes where scattered throughout the film - jump scares, sharp score, dutched angles, etc. 6.5/10.

Renegades - Written & produced by Luc Besson. And it shows, action is nice but characters need a bit more work. Good thing is that this film is very much action oriented. Liked J.K. Simmons in it, but sadly he has a small role in it. 7/10

American Made - I liked it a lot. 8/10

Planning to see "Seven Sisters" and "It" tomorrow. And maybe also "Annabelle: Creation", but not sure if that one is worth it seeing in cinema.

What Happened to Monday (aka. Seven Sisters) - Nice thriller. Noomi Rapace was very good as those seven sisters. Some things could of been done better but overall 7/10

Just been to this in 3D also. Really enjoyed it but I can certainly see why people find it slow. I preferred the director's previous films (especially Sicario and Arrival), but still give this an easy 4/5. I can't wait for his adaptation of Jo Nesbo's The Son.

Saw this today, I really liked it, people complaining that it's slow? Well so was the original! It was well acted and beautifully shot, Denis Villeneuve has delivered another stunning film. 8/10.

Geostorm - Awful. But an enjoyable awful. I just can't help myself with these bad disaster movies. 3/5

Thor: Ragnorak - The Thor films are the weakest Marvel films for me, but the change in style and a great risky choice in director paid off. A solid 3.5/5

The Florida Project - The indie darling of the festival circuit opened theatrically in general release, there was a lot of critical hype surrounding this film so I was looking forward to seeing it. Sadly I was massively let down, I really did not like it, none of the characters where likeable, the kids where annoying, Willem Dafoe sleepwalked through his role, and it ran 30 minutes much too long. 2/10.

Thor: Ragnarok 3D - Nice cameos, epic fights, good humor - what not to like? 9/10

Jigsaw - Better than some previous sequels in this series, but nothing special 6/10

Bad Mom's Christmas - The cast was better than the film. I quite enjoyed the first Bad Moms film, but this dragged a little and was too generic in the humour. The way they have opened up for a completely different third movie is intriguing though. 2.5/5

Thor: Ragnarok - I'm a fan of Taika Waititi, his films are funny, touching, and brilliant. I was pleased that Marvel took the risk hiring him as the director of the third Thor film, what a risk to completely change tone. I'm glad they did, as the risk paid off. Thor: Ragnarok is easily the best film in the Thor series, it's fun, colorful, action packed, and just plain awesome. It's like a road movie featuring Thor, Loki, and the Hulk. The cameos are great, the story was engaging, and the overall result is one of the best Marvel movies made. 9/10.

Justice League - I suppose you can use the phrase one step forwards, two steps back for the DC Universe. Wonder Woman was a fantastic step forward, Justice League was two steps back. Worth a watch, and enjoyable enough, but such a waste of great characters. Miller killed it as Flash though. 3/5
