Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957) UPDATED

Missing note on the 4k: "Transfer from a 4K restoration."

The Kinos may not have the original mono; it'd be good if someone connected with this site could test them properly: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.ph ... 241&page=4

Updated the Blu-ray page.
It's not particularly necessary for a 4K disc to have a "transfer from a 4K restoration" since it is obvious.

Not at all: the majority of films produced from 2001-2015 were finished at 2k, including all their CGI and effects, etc. See their tech specs on IMDb or https://shotonwhat.com/ and you'll be surprised at how many films, even blockbusters such as the 1999-2005 Star Wars trilogy and The Avengers (2012) only have 2k DIs (digital intermediates).

Also, initially older 2k masters of analogue-only films were transferred from existing 2k, non-HDR masters, which is why so many 4k discs are now being reissued with true 4k, HDR remasters. The same process has happened with all new sound and vision formats, in a rush to get product onto the market as quickly and cheaply as possible.

For proof, see https://www.google.com/search?q=real+or+fake+4k, or check out:

But surely you already know all this?

Spain: B0053C8DZE

Lastly, I raised a question mark over Gunfight's "mono" audio but as you changed it anyway, the "Canadian" Kino BD needs updating too. Perhaps a footnote could ask someone to confirm?

I can't recall of any instances of films that were shot and edited on film and had a 4K UHD release that was just an upscale from a 2K or HD master. So I don't feel it's necessary to state it on a 4K page since it should be obvious. Yes, there are the upscaled ones as you said of films that were shot and edited in 2K resolution and have had 4K UHDs issued, but that wouldn't apply to something like O.K. Corral.

Updated the DVD ASINs, and as for the stereo audio, it seems to be confirmed that it is stereo and not mono.
