The Australian Via Vision release has the original double feature "Grindhouse" film and the separate extended versions of "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof" with the most extras.
Stay away from the German release which is heavily censored and is missing on the audio commentary.
The following versions of the film are known:
- The "Grindhouse Double Feature" theatrical version (~91min).
- The "Extended and Unrated" theatrical version (~106min).
- The "Scratch Free" version, removing most of the damage that was intentionnaly added, as well as the "faux trailers" (~102min).
- The heavily censored German version (~99min).
