Either of two disc editions from Acorn Media (the UK is preferable for the proper PAL transfer).
GENERAL NOTES:
Originally produced as a four-part miniseries (~205 minutes at 25fps) and as a feature edit that runs approximately 114 minutes edited concurrently with the miniseries by Mick Audsley while the miniseries editing was supervised by Xavier Russell. The television version featured a score of London Philharmonic Orchestra performances of period-appropriate pieces by Holst and Delius among others. The feature edit featured an original score by Jean-Claude Petit. The music rights were not secured for the video releases of the television version – and possibly overseas broadcast – so the Petit score was used for video and DVD releases of the television version.
