OVERALL: Draw
- R1 Warner Bros is in the presumably original 1.78:1 aspect ratio with an anamorphic transfer plus an open-matte full screen presentation.
- R1 50th Anniversary Edition also has a 1.78:1 anamorphic transfer (sourced from the Warner release) and has by far the best extras. Although some text changes were made at the beginning.
Note that R1 by Fox/Legend Films also has some extras, mainly an audio commentary, but it has been reported that this commentary is only "making fun" of the film, which is the style of the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" TV series.
