OVERALL: Draw
Between R2 France and R2 Spain for the best selection of extras. But they're NTSC > PAL transfers.
The R1 US disc has the superior NTSC transfer but lacks the second disc.
GENERAL CUT NOTES:
The 1932 original version that was previewed allegedly ran 90 minutes. After a disastrous reaction from the audience, MGM executive Irving Thalberg deemed the film "too horrific" and had it cut to its present length of 62 minutes.
Sadly This cut footage is not known to exist, so we will never see the full uncut version as Tod Browning intended it to be seen. -
