There are 3 different cuts of the film that have been released:
1) Original release length of 120 minutes
2) 2008 Director's Cut that restored a 1 minute deleted scene (included as a separate bonus feature on the Warner DVD) featuring Chishu Ryu to the "Temple of the Golden Pavilion" segment and featured new sky replacement/color timing at the end of the "Runaway Horses" segment
3) 2018 Updated Director's Cut still containing the additional scene and featuring a different sky replacement/color timing at the end of the "Runaway Horses" segment
