The German Nameless Media release has the Hong Kong version with an anamorphic transfer and 5.1 and original mono audio, plus some exclusive extras.

The film was released in released in South Korea in 1984 in a Korean-dubbed version of Woo's original cut while Golden Harvest ordered some added sex and other scenes for their domestic edition which was nevertheless shelved and not released until after the success of A Better Tomorrow. The film is available in three versions:
- the South Korean version, closest to Woo's director's cut (1984)
- the Hong Kong theatrical version (~88 minutes) (1986)
- the export version (~85 minutes) (1986) -
